Multiple monitor and custom monitor positioning support

Synergy supports multiple monitor configuration; however, the current support is limited for setups that have the layout completely separated between computers; the following examples are supported:

Example 2:

Regardless of the number of monitors, if they are symmetrical (2x2, 4x4) or linear (2x1, 3x1, 4x1), Synergy will recognize them as one large screen mouse movement between them will be seamless.

Custom monitor positioning, for example, having monitors from different computers interlaced, is not supported; the following examples illustrate what Synergy currently doesn't support:

These custom position setups are currently not supported, but they are on the roadmap.

There is a 3rd kind of custom position for single monitor setups that Synergy does support, in case your monitor is positioned in different heights, or they are different sizes, and you only want them to switch in specific areas; this is possible using a custom configuration, for example, the following setups are supported:

Example 2:

These are possible using a custom manual config file; you can reach out to support if you need assistance creating these type of configurations as it requires setting up the percentage of the screen to switch; this is the example configuration file for the 2nd example:
