When gaming on a client computer, the mouse may be far too sensitive, or the cursor may accidentally switch to another computer.
The first fix is in your product's section: turn on relative mouse moves.
Still switching computers?
Lock the mouse to the client by pressing the Scroll Lock key (ScrLk on some keyboards), and press it again to unlock. For more, see: How to lock the cursor to a computer?
Does my game work on a client?
It depends on the game. Many games read the mouse directly, so a game works on a client computer only if it allows that, and we can't promise support for a particular game. The steps in this article help many games, but we can't promise they will fix yours.
What follows depends on your product: Synergy 3 or Synergy 1
Synergy 3
To turn on relative mouse moves:
- In the sidebar, click Keyboard & mouse.
- Turn on Relative mouse moves. The change is saved straight away.
Synergy 1
To turn on relative mouse moves:
- On the server computer, click Configure Server.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Tick Use relative mouse movements.
- Click OK to save the settings.
