If your Synergy 1 configuration is gone after you restart your Mac, please get in touch with us and send your log file, because Synergy 1 should never lose it.
Synergy 1 saves each setting to disk the moment you change it, and saves again when you click Start, so there's no separate step to make your settings permanent.
