Written for Synergy 1 (v1.21.4), checked 7 October 2026.
Your serial keys are on your account page, under Licenses: Your account
Someone else at your company bought the license? Ask them, or your account manager, for the serial key. The license shows only on the account it's registered to, so logging in with your own email address won't show it. If you're not sure who your account manager is: Contact our business team
- Synergy 1 (v1.21 and later) already running on one of your company's computers? Its About window shows the serial key and who it's registered to. How to open it: Find which version of Synergy 1 or Synergy 3 you're running
- Writing to us about the license? Include its serial key or the email address it's registered to, so we can find it.
- Synergy Enterprise has no serial key, so there's nothing to find or enter.
Copy your serial key
- Log in with the email address you bought with.
- Under Licenses, find your product. Its key is under Serial key.
- Click the copy button beside the key. Copied! confirms it's on your clipboard.
To enter the key in Synergy 1, see: Enter or change your serial key in Synergy 1
To enter the key in Synergy 3, see: Enter or change your serial key in Synergy 3
How keys activate in Synergy 1 and Synergy 3, and how to free up an activation, is covered here: How license activation works in Synergy 1 and Synergy 3

- "Hold tight, we're waiting on your payment to finish processing.": your payment hasn't completed yet, and the license appears once it does. If it takes longer than expected, click Contact support.
- Still missing? Contact us with the email address you bought with: Contact support
What the labels on a license mean
- Trial: temporary access to the product while the trial lasts.
- Maintenance expired: updates and technical support have ended on this license. Your software keeps working, and you can still download any version released before your maintenance ended. To renew, click the label, then Renew your maintenance.
- Offline license: an offline serial key, for computers on offline or air-gapped networks. Activate each computer with Activate offline computer; for the steps, see: How license activation works in Synergy 1 and Synergy 3
- Legacy key: the key was issued in an older format. It still activates and works as normal, so there's nothing you need to do.
- Lite Pass, Max Pass, Elastic Lite Pass or Elastic Max Pass: your Access Pass. For what it gives you, see: Access Pass (Maintenance License)

- Links beside the license take you to Upgrade, Manage activations and Download when they apply to it.
