Upgrade from your account page: log in, then click Upgrade beside your license: Your account
You only pay the difference between your license and the edition you upgrade to, and you pay once (it isn't a subscription).
Upgrade your license
- Log in to your account and click Upgrade beside your license.
- The upgrade page shows your current license and the edition we suggest. Where a menu shows beside the Upgrade button, you can pick a different Synergy 3 edition: Lite, Plus or Max.
- Click Upgrade and complete the payment.
- Enter your new serial key on each computer (see below).
Upgrading from Synergy 1 to Synergy 3? You keep your Synergy 1 license too. With Synergy 1 Basic, the page also offers Upgrade to Synergy 1 Pro instead.
After you upgrade, enter your new serial key
Your upgrade isn't applied automatically. It adds a new license with a new serial key to your account, and you enter that key in Synergy 1 or Synergy 3 on each computer. For Synergy 3, see: Enter or change your serial key in Synergy 3

An upgrade within the same product (Synergy 3 Lite to Plus, for example, or Synergy 1 Basic to Synergy 1 Pro) replaces your old license on the account with the new one.
Upgrade not offered?
- You already have the highest tier: your account already has Synergy 3 Max, our top personal edition.
- There are no upgradable licenses on your account: the account you're logged in to has no personal license to upgrade. If you bought with a different email address, log in with that one.
