On a client computer, click Configure Client in the Synergy 1 window. Change what you need and click Save; if Synergy 1 is connected, it reconnects to apply the change. Reset puts back the values you last saved and Restore Defaults sets them back to the defaults.
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Use dynamic reconnection time based on connection attempts | When the client can't reach the server, it waits a little longer after each failed attempt, starting at 1 second and going up to 5 minutes, instead of retrying at a steady pace. The status bar then shows how many seconds are left before the next try. | Off |
| Use server's keyboard language on this computer | Types with the server's keyboard layout on this computer, so characters come out as they would on the server. The same keyboard layouts must be installed on every computer; if one is missing, Synergy 1 shows Missing Keyboard Layouts with the list to install. | On |
| Scroll Modifiers: Vertical Scroll and Horizontal Scroll | Invert reverses the scroll direction on this computer. Scale makes scrolling faster or slower, from 0.1 to 10 times. | Not inverted, scale 1.0 |
